i think he is both...when its says only gaia and demon king can bring him back..i think of them as one... many times they encounter there self tru dreams in a place wer is the tree of life wer gaia should be.. wer he/she made everything in that world... and if that guy lost his self and didnt see his fated one...i think he may become some kind demonic so he will be like the demon king and destroy everything that i hope it wont happen ...
