I don't think they did, because the childhood friend came and said he wasn't giving up and she was fine as long as she was with the childhood friend and at the end the childhood friend says "don't touch her!" and the model says "she wasn't feeling well!" acknowledging that he shouldn't be touching her and implying the model and her aren't together or he would have said something like "I can touch what's mine!"

No even if he could obtain a magic item which supposedly would be a hard thing to do, he's really got no reason to give one to her. Not to mention the fact that he's no even sure if it really is consumption. Plus would you give a rare item or let's says 1 million dollars to a 6 year old girl you just met. While the most kindhearted would, you gotta remember he's a merchant, he can't live in that business if he feels sorry for every little thing and give away expensive stuff to random ppl for free.

nm (≧∀≦) they we're right after all lol, its true that the magical item are rare and only noble who have a magic inside them needs it and can use it (ofcorse add those commoner who have magic :3 maybe they can have too) she's not well known yet but im sure that they will do everything for her (Maybe?
