Theory time!!!!!
So I’ve always felt that takemichi was the one who can control the leaps but he can’t go back unless he shakes hands with somebody who wants to fix the same thing as him. For example Shaking hands with Naota, he was able to go back because they both wanted to save Hina. Now that Naota is dead people thought well he can’t time leap anymore but the person he shakes hands with isn’t important as much as the reason. If they don’t have the same reason he can’t leap. That’s why when he tried to shake Naota hands to save Mikey the first time it didn’t work, hina was saved and that’s all Naota wanted. I think whoever Takemichi shakes hands with, they have to want to save or do the same thing. Now why Takemichi is the one who can leap..... IDK but I’m excited to continue reading to hopefully find out.

Because were heading into the culling games and more people/sorcerers will be introduced, I think that gege put all these executions to make room for all the new folks coming in. Plus him having no problem with offing a character too but....
THEORY’S:
The principal telling the old man(forget his name) his technique before dying I think was a way for him to pass it on to somebody else. Since gege hinted at a type of technique similar to nanami’s for the comedian, I think he’s going to recycle old techniques from others and changed them to modify the new person which I’m totally ok with. Now that just brings up the question, If he does recycle the principals technique? Who would get it. Somebody we already know of or somebody completely new.
