Maybe this question has already been asked in the past, but I joined only recently, so I hope you don't mind me asking again.
The thing is: I have a crush on a character from a manga (I am to embarrassed to say, who it is, as I have never told this anyone in my entire life). It has been quite some time already - over a year - and I am starting to feel as if I am seriously strange. This feeling won't lessen even a bit and every time I continue to read said manga, I appears that my feelings for the character only grow. Slowly, I am getting desperate, because I have never been so in love with a real person... ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
I was hoping that I am not the only one, who has ever had a crush on a fictional character, and could get some advice as to how I can get over this.

don't worry, I had (and still have) a HUGE crush on my avatar character, but one day an exchange student came into my school and it was almost love at first sight, but since then, he went back to his country so I had to go back to loving the fictional guy. It's just a matter of time until you find the right person (real person) and you'll eventually forget that character you like so much, just like I did for that period of time. ^^

Same with me for Byakuya (Bleach). It's okay to have it, it'll pass. I second what Maia Banana said.

XD You Kidding!? I love Izark from "From Far Away" ... and he's become my ideal guy for romance. Every guy in manga to make it on my radar seems to need black hair (long black hair is better) similar persona to Izark. if they are blond (on paper meaning brown included) they have to work REALLY hard for me to love them.
So its not bad loving a character, but I keep my feelings to a minimum since he already has Noriko and I'm fine with watching from a far after all I want him to be happy :) since ^^ he deserve it. but I haven't loved anyone from the 3D world (farthest I got "Oh, He's cute" <walks away>).
Do you ever have him in your dreams? I like going on adventure with a lot of characters (manga or movies {Terminator was AWSOME same w/ The Doctor {David Tennant}}) and even some I don't know who they are but its so much fun
Also hugging and kissing a manga book... perfectly normal ^^

HA HA I'm 38 years old and I have a crush in asami
Years ago, I read a manga of three kids: two boys and a girl. The girl was in love with one of them, but he died in an accident (I believe). Later, through some kind of portal the other two could travel in time and so avert the death of the boy. Unfortunately, I don't remember all of the story and I can't seem to find it. Has anyone ever read this manga and still remembers which one it is?

Has kind of similar plot, is it this one?
Unfortunately not. But thank you.
Isn't it that the girl was in love with the boy who died, they received the letters from the future? it's shown in the past and they tried to avoid the boy to commit suicide ... I think the mother committed suicide or something like that , and they girl and the other boy in the future got married and got a kid?
Anyway still don't remember the name if it is ( ̄ε(# ̄)Σ ╥_╥

That is called orange right?
I guess there are more manga featuring a time travel aspect than I expected. And the information I can give are very scarce...
I'm sorry, none of the ones you mentioned, is the one I am looking for.
