For me, it's the plot. The art does attract me but it's the plot that will keeps me hooked up with a story. There have been times where I've hated the artstyle but kept reading until the end bc I loved the plot, but I've never hated a plot and kept reading bc of the art

for me, translation > art > plot. i can turn off my brain while reading a story, so the plot doesn't have to be good. if the translation is wonky however, it's a dealbreaker for me. i hate shitty translation more than anything else.
