i personally don't like jeanette but i do understand her character. it doesn't change much for me though.. yes, she is a child being used, she only wants love etc.. but she literally grew up with supportive people around her, ya'll are making it seem like she was always alone and sad or something when there's literally scenes of Ijekiel playing with her + she even calls the Alpheus family "her family". it's uncomfortable to see her try to be the heroine everyone loves. the way she's seeking attention from Athanasia and Claude just bothers me. she doesn't even listen to athy because she's only thinking about herself and her newly found father. she's so naive that it's annoying. i have reasons for not liking her, so if you're a Jeanette lover, i respect you but i'm not going to like her just out of pity. if she did something useful then i would've liked her but all she does is whine.

this is taking way too long. at this point claude isn't going to wake up for atleast 10 more chapters.. i love the artist but please save the jeanette & athy moments for later. there's a whole ass empire that's in danger here bc they're stalling they found a solution but they aren't doing it, which is understandable but if you aren't going to wake him up then atleast fight for the crown and or save your/his status while he's gone.
im inlove with mc. she's the most real mc ever, all other isekai mcs accept their 'fate' or are portrayed as 'nice' when in reality, i know i would absolutely hate everyone and only care about myself in that situation. her attitude about life is so amazing and realistic, especially the suicidal parts. and she doesn't throw away her pride for anyone sheesh.. she speaks her mind, i absolutely love it.
i hope the prince isnt the ml. the amount of pain he's caused her is just unbearable. and i rlly don't want her to break her promise to herself.
their relationship at the end is so so unhealthy and disappointing but the author portrayed the characters so perfectly mentally... when the mc was talking about his own trauma and gave thought into his abuser's point of view, it was very realistic if you have his similar mindset after going through something traumatic. the unintentional guilt tripping to his own self and his sense of 'justice' was disappointing because i wanted him to be selfish and he wasn't strong minded but it still felt so real. since he didn't feel happy near the end i was angry but it's still so greatly written that it's frightening and admiring at the same time. i don't like how they ended up together but the author executed the manga so well that it made so much sense and felt reasonable to readers since it gave us both the character's point of views.
