She's too desperate for affection and has that "protagonist" sickness, where she automatically thinks that everything will go her way without trying. It pisses me off really. I know she's just a nice naive little girl but with such stakes and her lack of comprehension plus her ignorance, I also want to pummel her face to the ground and watch her cry.

i don't know if the author realizes it or not but, he talks about societies standards and all of his stories are based on appearance and how society is terrible, i agree with that but he also always gives women a perfect body. big boobs, big butt, small waist. he talks about body shaming but only about MENS body shaming. its bad for all genders, i love that he takes look on all of this and even gives notice about women's problems with perverts but at the same time when it comes to girls, he gives them all perfect bodies. it just makes me think sometimes

i hated those chapters sm- im sorry. when they were in middle school they invalidated his trauma/abuse so much but they accepted the other girl? she had a family 'to go back to' as well... idk why they only left him out at the time. he deserved so much better. all he wanted was to feel.. it wasn't even a huge request, he didn't care about being happy, he just wanted to feel something. i know what he did was bad but he did not deserve that ending at all.

i am crying. why did no one cry for olly? im literally soo sad after olly's death. he was emotionally abused and never thought he could feel anything at all but i dont see anyone actually feeling empathy for him. they didnt even mourn him correctly, i know he was a 'bad' character but im just so sad that even after his death, no one cared. he wanted to feel emotions and pain so bad that in the end he ended up going psycho and k-lling himself. just the thought of it makes my heart hurt im so sorry.
