im ngl i just started this manhwa and im barely on the first few chapters but why is her wedding look soo underwhelming.. i love how she looked as a soldier, she had a seductive look but her wedding was just so meh i get it was contractual and blablablah but they shouldve done a lil more w the look.. it js looked like the author was rushed or wanted to get over w that scene and i was hoping for more.. i hope the FLs style or the art improves a little atleast so she stands out more bc shes so attractive
If I remember correctly that's because the main girl wanted it that way. She wanted it fast so she could go home and restore her home. A fancy wedding is far from what she wanted. What they got was because the ml didn't agree. Her dress is because she turned down the others she wanted to be comfortable. I think they only had a day to prepare. He gave her necklace and a ring and ever other improvement was done by him and his people. The king probably would have liked to belittle her.
because the fl isn't into that stuff and she has other priorities. She's just got out of war and her priorities isn't about how the way she would look during her wedding day. Kind of shallow to nitpick stuff like this

i love this manhwa but im just annoyed that the FL ignored lucians abuse for SO long. like 60 chapters she’s always like “omg i need to stop this” yet lets her father continue to beat him.. then acts clueless when she see’s it happening in front of her eyes.. the duke literally favors her sm and she still thinks she has no control in doing smth ab him abusing lucian lowk annoying. also the “i dont wanna change the story!!” is so old now like u already changed the story by possessing and changing a whole character?? I keep seeing ppl saying "how could she fall in love with the person who killed her whole family?.." and it is genuinely so annoying like did u even read the story.. the whole point is he doesn't know his own feelings and she couldn't contain her feelings, she grew to love him and their memories tg. shes conflicted because she hates him so much but came to love him (and hates him even more for that!!) it's such a tragedy and such a great & complex love story. better than any 'enemies to lovers' trope ive ever read. it goes soo in depth from the characters to their backgrounds to not being able to control their own emotions. i NEED them together. its so sad that they are holding back because they feel like they aren't 'meant to be' together. bc laliette feels like the universe is against her in that sense since she loves him but knows she shouldn't. now that her 'family' is out of the way i hope they both find happiness together
everyone was shitting on this js cuz they focus on revenge part but this story is literally about development of characters, slow burn romance, and a perfect mix of psychology and romance. i love how FL's & ML's relationship develops. unlike other manhwas where ml falls in love at first sight this is so much more realistic & intriguing. i love the fl no matter what anyone says, shes just a sweet girl who cares for her family, but is still willing to understand ML's feelings, shes becoming forgiving and is soo beautiful. they both have trust issues but eventually warm up to each other and ML soon becomes obsessed w her bc he doesn't understand her, she's different. it gives me butterflies bc the romance building up is like enemies to lovers, puppy love and teasing but also obsessive its rlly cute. there r so many twists/obstacles like this story is NEVER boring.
