So I've been putting this off for a long time but I wasn't in the right mental state to read this (based on some of the snippets I saw on twitter). Now that I've read it, it's not that bad as it's talked about. Not a fan of the ending, many rough edges.. feels rushed tbh. I honestly thought he'll cross the river at the end but ended up surviving, which is good because no one deserves a life cut short.
I like the play of the mind, so twisted, so cruel yet so vulnerable. The obsession and possessiveness is blinding. It's definitely a pot of everything red but with added sugar.
Won't recommend to soft readers that's hoping for an angst redemption (wife chasing crematorium) because I see none.
Would love to see some extras with some character development of both uke and seme ^^
