ok but i dont think its that bad. like dude approached him bc he liked how the ml actually acted (mean). sure it was for his novel, but hes still one of the only people to like ml for who he was (at the time). and they've both grown so much; it's unjustified for ml to be too mad at mc. the only bad thing is that mc has the file open on his computer, but he could so easily say that was he reminiscing (which he lowkey was).
