Two of these stories (the ones by Keiko Nishi) were selected, translated and published in Spain in a single volume in 1995. It was the first attempts to publish shoujo manga in this country, if we don't count some issues of Candy Candy published in the 80s. It was a total failure and apart from some inconsistent volumes of Sailor Moon in 1996-97, the editors didn't dare to publish shoujo manga in Spain until the success of the Marmalade Boy anime in 1998. Thanks to this series, it attracted a larger female audience interested in manga, helping to bring more shoujo works to the country. However, despite the fact that there are more or less the same amount of male & female manga-readers nowadays, publishers bring fewer shoujo works because they say they don't sell as much as shounen. But they really can't blame female readers because it's proven that women consume everything, unlike male consumers, who discriminate against products primarily geared toward women...
Oh, sorry for the off-topic comment. I just wanted to share some trivia, and it ended with a complaint, lol Hugs to anyone who read it all the way to the end ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄

I'm surprised some people find the Muhammad proverb offensive, even though it's a classic phrase that's been around for centuries. Even in my native Spanish we use it: "Si la montaña no va a Mahoma, Mahoma va a la montaña". You can even find it in other languages like French and Italian. As seen at the end of the chapter, it means that if things don't go as you planned, you have to be proactive and find another way to achieve them. Its intention was never to offend or mock Islam; quite the contrary.
However, I noticed the name of Jesus is also mentioned in this same chapter, and no one is making a fuss...
The art was already beautiful, but with this extra you can appreciate the artist's improvement. Gorgeous. The story was adorable, I loved it!
