I just wonder why can't yaoi authors create atleast 20 chapters for chasing arc. Like the uke is dismissing almost every efforts of seme. Most of the manhwas or mangas ive read is that the Chasing arc is most likely just 1 to 3 chapts then forgiveness arc for only 1 chapt then the redemption arc follows. I mean dearest author why is it so easy to draw the tortures for the uke but not for the seme?

Give me the slow painful realisation give me the simmering regret and self reflection show me the despair and spiraling self hate and wallow and I'd like to read in detail how much yearning and redemption the character must suffer before they are granted the relief.
