This started as a promising supernatural crime drama and turned then into Tower of God. It's such a strange genre mix. As a fantasy story it's not very convincing and as a shounen ai story it lacks character development between the two leads (and no, I'm not talking about erotic scenes9. But lets throw in some fan service (guy dressed as Alice with short skirt and high heels) to get people interested.

A love confession? Took them only 258 chapters ...
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/3b/u391300_50x50.jpg?2)
I did not WAIT 250 + chapters for him to say "he's very important" LIKEEEE. NOOO
for all the people that say he confessed or are like he said he loves him. HE DID NOT.
He said "is it really true that human emotions only surround like and dislike" this mean that human emotion and feeling are complex. If you don't like something doesn't mean u dislike it. It's like all about liking and disliking, it's more complex, there are other feeling. He then went on to say "it's hard to explain it to you" meaning his feeling or what Jian yi is to him is hard to explain. He is a special person, which doesn't mean he has romantic feeling for him

I wonder if the author will ever grow a pair and show us some sex scenes. And no, guys, I don't "need" sex scenes, but the teasing is so annoying, especially when you know it will never - NEVER - end. I see myself reading this in 10 years as a middle aged women, still waiting for some progress and a storyline. It's depressing.

It wouldnt make sense to have sex scenes around this time. There's a lot of story that still needs to happen. Unless you want the basic story of confession then sex. Theres most likely going to a lot more chapters till sex

I actually have to agree with you. I like this manhua but it really is like a comedy manhua with a side plot (which I think Old Xian just wanted a comedy manhua? And it somehow turned this way lol). Since a storyline is already introduced, the development is really slow. I wanna like this wholeheartedly like before but I already got a bit tired of waiting for story development.

Can someone summarize this for me? I started reading it when it came out which was 10 years ago. The updates are just too slow. I know they finally slept with each other and then? I don't feel like reading it again. Are they together? Or is Yashiro being difficult?

I wonder why almost every webcomic out there get's such a high rating. It reminds me of all the great 2D animations I grew up with when I was a kid. Nowadays nobody wants to see 2D, it has to be 3D. My 5 years old niece doesn't like the "old" animation. It must be the same with webcomics. The younger generation just enjoys it more than the classic black/white japanese comic style. I'm only annoyed by all that damn SCROLLING. Little text and no exciting pictures but endlessly scrolling down and scrolling down. I feel like I schould buy a new computer with a bigger screen. Sigh. Compared to that 19 days is a blessing. At least there you get some content in your frame. So the rant finishes here.

lmao yeah, I suppose so - the art is almost always very pleasing to look at, which in itself is a positive factor of weight. on the other hand, it's not all that much of a surprise when you think that the authors and the readers of said webcomics are usually of the same demographics: the themes being approached, the dynamics between the characters and the aesthetics altogether are much closer to what most readers are used to, compared to the classic b/w style (which I love, btw! would say I prefer, even. there's something abstract about lines and chiaroscuro colored panels can quite get right). easier to enjoy to what you relate to.
the storyline might not... as much, in some cases, but the effort put into these webcomics is by itself worthy of appreciation (not necessarily high ratings, but). even better when the overall work asks for praise. this one has nailed all the previous points so far, so I'd say the rating is well-deserved. (no denying @ the scrolling part, though.)

I think black/white is much more artistic, more detailled. There are less bold lines, the art can look more mature (it depends on the work and author, of course). When you have read a work like "Musashi" then you can only shake your head in disbelief when people are praising the art in webcomics. But no hate here. Only my two cents.
That said I enjoy "Warehouse" a lot and don't mind the scrolling. The empty frames add to the suspense, Killer Whale is a genius in using this new art style the way it's supposed to be used. "Killing Stalking" and "The tower of god" isn't bad either. But many other authors fail in my modest opinion. I feel like most people only think: colorful=great, b/w=boring. That's it.

I have no problem with the scrolling. Bits are way cheaper than printed paper, so you can better convey the time lapse sensation. At least I think so.
About color x b/w, I don't feel the NEED of colors. But since the price is the same to make it appear on a screen, then you can have OPTIONS, and that's what really matters. Takehiko Inoue's art is amazing, no doubt, but if I had the option, I would love to see those watercolors with higher frequency, not only in the covers.

There is something about the style of this author I really, really like. But there is also something about the storytelling I feel is lacking. The story started out so strong, but then the depressing mood just took over, and even though the author build up a lot of tension between the main characters, at the end everything was resolved so easy, the love scenes weren't very exciting. I was hoping for more. I loved those two in the sequel.

Actually I agree with you. The make up was so easy and quick. But I did like the love scenes though, I don't have to see it very explicitly if you want that kind of thing there's always porn.
It's a long time since I wrote a comment here. THIS IS F*CKING GORGEOUS. I read all the raws up to chapter 6 again and again. So refreshing, cute and overall pretty well told. This is really a hidden gem and I'm not the biggest fan of omegaverse. Great characters, cute and hot artstyle, interesting storyline, fun and erotic. What else do you want?
Are the raws available ?
It's not raw, it's a translation. I must admit, I have no idea what language ...
