Thats the only manga on mangago I will never drop. I will read it to the bitter end.

I love the style and everything, but isn't this going back and forth and back and forth? It's hard to follow or maybe that's just me.

Not a fan of the love scenes ...

If you don't mind, may I ask why? Just curious.

It's yaoi so there will be sex scenes from time to time.

I don't find them very erotic. The whole manga is rather funny and it's a cute humor I enjoy and then those strange love scenes ... I'm not a fan of the erotic dreams and thoughts of the uke either. It doesn't fit the story, at least that's how I feel. There aren't many sex scenes either which makes it even stranger to me when suddenly there is such a long scene. I'm on a yaoi site, of course I'm here for the sex. But this is just not my taste. Mostly because it's very typical uke/seme sex with the seme being HUGE and the uke being very girly. The whole dynamics between those two are really interesting and the love scenes are just so ... meh. But I wouldn't know how to do it better honestly. With those kind of character that's the only way I guess. I'm still following this and I like it, but I'm more curious about there non-sexual interactions.

I hear you, dude. We like what we like, right? I personally love the sexual tension and sex scenes but totally agree that the uke's fantasies seemed a bit outside the vibe of the story (though, I didn't hate them). I love the dynamics between them too! I don't personally feel that the uke is girly, though, rather, he seems naive and innocent to the ways of the world. I love that he's so competent and hard working, though. And same, I'm super excited for the story to develop further too!

I don't know if I like this. The idea is good, but I somehow prefer them being brothers. I just don't feel the lovers chemistry even though the kissing scenes were pretty nice. With that kind of past I have a hard time going into their "love".

Gorgeous art, but the plot is painfully slow. There is also a very depressing mood I get from this work that I don't really enjoy. I must say I was expecting more from it after reading the first couple chapters. The love story of the main couple isn't very intriguing either. It's a shame, because the art is so beautiful. I love the ghosts.

This work annoys me so much. I feel like the author is not good at drawing and not good at telling a story. Somehow it's appealing though. The characters look cute, the story has potential. But Jesus ... is it their first work? I don't see any improvement either. The characters are pretty bland. The mother has no personality, the whole meeting was so poorly written. Good storytelling looks different. It honestly amazes me that the whole work is somehow readable and even enjoyable. But if you look at the details ... sigh. I'm a writer myself. This kind of storytelling reminds me a lot of my first works. It's so obvious the author only had a sketchy idea about the two main characters and just went for it without thinking it through.

Is this a new trend? All this kidnapping stuff and violent/sadist seme? I never expected the genre coming to this. Years ago yaoi was mostly smutty and cheesy.

    awwi July 3, 2019 5:59 pm

It isn't a new trend. There have always been popular BL stories with violence/sadism in it (horror has also always been a part of BL but it's not as popular as violence/sadism alone) . The only thing that's different now is, that the stories are longer since many of them are webtoons which also means that they get more attention compared to the one shots or on volume long BL manga (most sadistic/violent BL manga aren't that long).

Was there ever given a proper explanation to why this relationship didn't work out in the past? Sunho was just too clingy and, well, not sane. That was it? Did I miss something? Apparently Doyun didn't care enough, but wasn't it Sunho's fault to begin with? He thought it was nasty what they did, but Doyun didn't force him to sleep with him in the first place. I'm confused ...

I think his parents found out what happened

Sunho (S) was uncomfortable doing sexual things I think but felt that he was forced into it as Doyun (D) would’ve left him if S wouldn’t do it? But D didn’t know he was uncomfortable with it and pretended to not need S so that S would always chase after him. Then it got too much for S as ppl discovered their “shed” and was talking about how disguisting the culprits were, D didn’t care and ignored it where as S was shaken up by it and got into a fight.etc and that’s where it all went downhill (that’s what I’ve gathered... I’m really bad with names so I just use their initials, sorry!)

But wasn't Sunho crazy about Doyun? it's not like this was ever a "normal" friendship. I got the feeling Sunho's parents were very strict or his environment and that's why he thought something like having sex with a man was "nasty". I don't know. At a very early stage of this story I was convinced Doyun raped and bullied him, but that wasn't the case. I thought Sunho was surpressing his urges and now the contrary happened and he became a rapist. No idea. I'm lost here. Thinking back Sunho is the crazy psycho and Doyun had just bad luck.

At least he didn't tie him up again ...

This is so sick.
