Was about to say that "its not like the maid is worse because of social standing" but its true. Shes worse than them in all aspects. Money, power, nobility—which was everything that matters at that time and is still valuable today.

I would've preferred if the author didnt mix in romance, it completely ruined it for me. He couldve kept delaying it or chose one in name or maybe actually thought of what those girls worth.

I read the continuation of said chapter for reading's sake. Now im even more disappointed. He said shit like "They werent there when we needed help and came flocking when were at out highest. Meanwhile, lindsey went through the hard time with us" LIKE YOU WOULDN'T DO THE SAME??? AND FOR FUCKS SAKE, SHE WAS BEING PAID TO BE THERE!!
