I haven't read this yet but after reading the comments, i don't even know how this story will go anymore, it just seems so messed up to me, should i still read this?
It's a story about atonement, redemption and emotional healing, with lifelike characters and realistic depictions of emotional conflict, so it has more literary value than your average yaoi. So yeah, you do need to go over their complex past, which tells what actually happened that would need all that atonement and healing from, and some of that is pretty painful, sure... but the overall story has a positive message, and the characters are all beautiful in their own right. And it doesn't hurt that the art is really gorgeous.

Bruh. It’s a messed up story.
Regardless of whether it's messed up or not it's most certainly worth the read!!!
