I don't believe Genas was in love with Enoch mother, I don't want to and I don't care if the story tell that. He was groomed by a woman who used him for feeling better. In the flashback, he seems full aware of the manipulation he was put in but didn't have the strenght to fight back and all he can do was feeling empathy for his half-brother because they shared the same abuser (ML mother). And now he's with a rapist empress who bear jalousy over a woman who groomed him. She sees it as a love story because she is herself an abuser.
tbh I don't care about MC being ordinary because it shows that (dumb) ML loves her no matter what she looks like and I prefer that kind of love, not something about appareance but personnality
tbh I'm happy that amaryllis is not the big villain and she was just some spoiled and manipulateur brat, even if she did try to killed MC and for that she's a criminal, but I'm tired of women rivality for a trash family. MC doesn't want her family love, she doesn't care about amaryllis and don't seek for revenge. I like that in this story. She juste want to live her life with the family she choose
idk why everyone hating, I agree it's not incredible but it's not the worse either. I like the fact that the substitute is not portrayed as a bitch as always, for me it's quite psychological and angsty. But I know the story won't give her any redemption arc and she will be stuck with her revenge on Iju... I like the fact that the crown prince still love the fake saintess but still perform his duty as the next ruler of the nation. The fact that he feels betray but still love her is refreshing since a lot of manhwa love to has all the characters to hate the villainess without any transition the moment they know the truth
