I've worked as a packer and cashier at Costco without experience in that field. Being a small 5'1 girl, I can guarantee you it's not too demanding physically unless you really want it to be.

It was also easy bc it was literally a mile away from my house! always go with a place that’s closer rather than further (ex if you like a job slightly more than another but it takes 45 mins while the other takes 5 mins...1.5 hours of travel time really takes a lot out of you if you’re driving 5 times a wk) //PLUS kinda unrelated but always count your travel time w ur salary. If ur hourly wage is $8 but you’re spending an hour and half in traffic it’s actually less than $8//

As a 5’3 1/2 girl with no work experience, I’m trying to get a job at Home Depot. I suggest there depending on your age. If you’re 16+ you could probably work with the plants and just water them and bring in the shopping carts left outside

well we all get notifications once a day, it shows you everything that has been uploaded after previous notification. thats how it is for 4 years alreday (prob more).
its annoying when they update a lot of stuff right after the notif and then i read it and get notif the they after lol.

There was a huge argument over "drunk" uke/seme a while ago. Guess what, there were still MANY people, like split 50/50, arguing over if it is rape. If getting fucked drunk isn't rape to some people I doubt omegaverse rape will reach people's radar.

For me it all depends on circumstance and the intentions of the characters. The alpha can rape the omega, but the omega can also rape the alpha. Since rape is non-consensual sex whenever there's the estrus period and the omega doesn't want to have sex and neither does the alpha but they physically can't stop themselves because their bodies won't listen to their minds, is them raping each other honestly. But if the alpha wants it and doesn't mind losing control it's rape. There's this one novel i read (I believe its quickly wear the face of the devil) where one of the characters is an omega and in order to snag the alpha from his crush(another omega) he purposefully locked them both (the alpha and himself) inside a room and forced his heat to essentially rape the alpha (it didn't work in case you were curious because the alpha loved his omega too much for this one to have a strong effect pheromone-wise). So I honestly believe it depends on how the rape came about, if it was uncontrollable and neither wanted it, it would still be rape, but against each other unintentionally. But if the alpha disregards the omegas wishes its rape. But I don't find myself blaming either if neither could control nor truly wanted the situation to occur. But this happens rarely and omegaverse usually tend to be rape stories. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

yes, i've read that novel. is a shame it completed so fast. but ik the omega can rape the alpha, so i intentionally didn't say anything about either gender. but when it is rape, it's rape. and i'm angry at the people trying to say a rape is not rape when it is.

if the one getting penetrated is drunk, it's assumed to be in a state of unable to give consent, which means there is no consent prior to the action. silence does not equal yes. and even if they say yes, they're drunk and not in the right mind. it's a situation where it simply does not count. and if the other person is also drunk, I believe these are the situations where they just wake up the next morning and forget about it or run to the next base.

Not so long ago I read novel addicted / heroine and most of the novel was all beautiful, I fell in love with it and suddenly BUM rape. I was so disgusted and disappointed that I stopped reading, but this novel really made me happy without this rape it would be the best yaoi/book I ever read...

Not all Omegaverse Yaoi manga are like that, there's actually really cute ones.

That's why I don't read omegaverse yaoi mangas. I still would suggest the AU for fanfics, for example. Many are well-written for certain pairings of most fandoms are out on AO3. I found the concepts to be more romantic rather than the creepy rape-justification thing you're talking about in mangas. I mean, in general, most yaoi mangas are already cringey.

Yeah, what I'm saying is more often than not it is rape, and very few times is it unintentional on both parts, but it happens. I was just mentioning it can happen both ways. But yeah, people see things differently and think differently (or don't think deeply at all and take everything at face value) but I get what you mean. Yes it's very sad. People are becoming more accepting of rape. There was this manga that had rape in it (it wasn't omegaverse), and this one person commented on it calling out the rape. Guess what? Their comment got 41 dislikes. 41!!! I was arguing with people in the comments and most of their arguments was "don't read it" or "rape is common in yaoi". So sad to see people justifying rape these days.

Each time I've seen someone pointing out a rape scenario, I found these people detestable (although I agree with them). There are ways to say things instead of judging and lecturing people with full force. The dislikes were not necesseraly a way of showing their disagreement about what has been said.

At the end of the day, it's still a fictitious world. It cannot be compared to being merely drunk. Perhaps learn to separate fiction from actual life. Yaoi (especially omegaverse) is far from being close to real life. It's just fantasy smut literature and it will help to treat it as it should be

I always thought the problem for people was that they had to pay for it. Even I read at lezhin when they release free chapters every week or something. I don't get the entire "read at one place" thing. It's not hard to just bookmark the manga you're reading. You don't even to type it into the search bar. Just click on the bookmark. I can't believe that people actually use an excuse like that to read something here that's free in the official website. You guys can go to other websites to read the raws, yet you can't read the official translations, which coincidentally also happen to be free? *eyeroll*

I have no idea why they wouldn't chose webtoons. It'slegal and in better quality;; So why chose the downside? But a few that of the readers here weren't even aware about webtoons or knew anything about the site.
