He deserves it though for raping Jaekyung. He was drunk therefore not consented to it. All the studies showing drunken consent is acceptable are false. It's not like Dan and Jaekyung had been sleeping buddies already, and Jaekyung clearly didn't mind sleeping with Dan there.

I think (maybe this is my wishful thinking) that this is still the main story and she wont end with the princeb rather than the "alternative ending." The setting was never inside of a game or reincarnation in another world. If the author stays true to the character personalities that she has developed so far, Verta will take action on her own. If she wanted a pawn to do her dirty work, she could've done that from the start, but she didn't.
Also, I'm hoping that somehow Verta ends with Blaine anyway. Their personalities match way more whole Van is more self righteous. By this point in the story, Blaine is already intrigued by Verta so I hope the story takes a turn.
Only time will tell if the rest of the story is just pure fan service or if it will be cohesive
