I seriously resonated with kiyou soooo much in the scene when he was offered the key and in his mind he was cursing himself ,begging himself to not take the key but his hands moved faster and he took the key.
I was in a similar situation. No matter what my head said I ignored it. That's just how stupid people in love are sometimes..
I initially didn't like kiyou but now I realise that all those things make both characters more human than just story characters .
I'm loving it. I can see myself re-reading this again an again.
