The baseline plot is a bit messy... it would be nice if the issues that are presented are gradually addressed.
- Elizay's mark: is it really different form other marks? how so? what does that imply?
- Elissa and Elizay share this "resonance"-power thing, is it relevant in any way?
- Why are the king and second prince such assholes? What do they want, why do they scheme to make people's lives miserable?
- Elizay scribbled stuff in Korean at the very beginning, when pondering about the "messed up plot"; these scribbles have been found and turns out written Korean looks like the language magicians use for their spells. Cool. What's the use of this notion? Is it in any way relevant for the story?
I mean, I love these idiot couples and their sugar-rotting interactions... but if the author is throwing in plot, at least make it consistent. Give us info, not just random details here and there when things are happening.
Everyone out there thirsting for daddies and... am I the only one thirsting for Lukas?
I need to know about the backstory with Anastasius and Claude, Athanasia's mom, etc.
I also need to know about them magicians, because of reasons.
Hopefully not an unpopular opinion but... Jeannette. Let's be real: childish, naive, not very bright, and easily manipulated because she lacks common sense, not to mention self-awareness, consideration towards others, and a grip on reality.
AthyxLukas forever am I right or am I right.
They are all idiots. (︶︿︶)=凸
I love them all so much. ( T﹏T )
I like how Lucius is objectively handsome, smart, and ruthless... and ends up pining for the oblivious Pauliana, yet never forgets his responsibilities and duties.
I'd love to say Pauliana is my "spirit animal", but I don't have a tenth of her strength of character and determination; I wouldn't have put up with half of the bigotry she has faced.
I can see some kind of plot with Pauliana and the doctor's apprentice... but let's be real, she has to end up with Lucius somehow.
They have to end up together, even if unofficially. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I will never get tired of everyone (both from the scanlation group but also the characters in story) regarding Sir Aino as the one who is, towards Lucius, at the same time the overprotective parent, the asshole childhood friend, and the gay best friend in denial of his own feelings.
Go ahead and cry because your beloved emperor is getting married, Aino... we won't judge~ ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
BUT MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL.
Lucius, baby... if you don't fucking fix Acrea's law so that women can study, have private property, have titles, inherit, choose the profession they want outside the house... bitch what's the point of being the emperor. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Also just use some poison or frame all those bastards of the Acrea Elders, yes? You'll spare yourself some headaches. It's good to be both a beloved but ruthless emperor. You know, keep people on their toes. (❀╹◡╹)
The two generals... dead... my heart, dead too.
My heart is bleeding I need this to turn out well.
