i'm not saying that because i'm muslim that i'm perfect in my following of the religion (as no one can be)
i have been trying my best to read yaoi less often and go back into reading shoujo but i'm still to invested in these stories -.-" plus its a secretive guilty pleasure
i have never said to anyone that it isn't haram or recommended someone to read it

its one of my bad habits since i started reading them on my early teen years when i wasn't sometimes ( a lot of times ) understanding the sexual cunctation on them, it was more of a forbidding love on my eyes and the curiosity i had for it at that time which got me ( something like liking the bad boy sentiment )

so as someone who usually reads yaoi all day long, limiting myself is already a success on my eyes but there is still room to improve in the eyes of my religion expectation and my ideal

I hate it when a mangaka (or any kind of author) ruins their good story by adding an unnecessary overbearing love rival just so the potential for plot and relationship growth can be tossed out for unnecessary drama and endless misunderstandings!!! Especially when the couple is just learning communication exists like the literal last fucking volume! I finally have a yaoi with a seme that learns respect + consideration(also what no means) and a uke that finally grows a backbone! There used to be character growth and this fucking SCUM of a love rival is ruining it!!! I also hate the addition of the trope where the rival kisses as a "greeting"! Don't "it's ok cause he's a foreign and/or gay" me!!! America may be more open with affection than Japan but never have I witnessed someone kiss as a hello and much less aggressively make out!
