This chapter hit close to home. I've lost handful of people from my younger days and during lockdown. As a grownup, we're expected to be more understanding and tolerating and stronger than most people should be. That's not always the case. It's normal to miss them. It's normal to look for a familiar face in a sea of people, even when the reality hits us and see to it that they will never be back. It's okay to get a whiff of that perfume they used to wear everyday, and shed a tear or two when we get back to our senses and accept the fact it will never smell the same again.
You should allow yourself to miss someone or something, every once in a while. Even if it means we'll cry a bit or laugh a bit. A little visit in one's memory lane won't hurt.
I feel like once they saw Shalam's archived data about human, they'll have second thoughts. I think that's why Napal told them it won't be easy for them to see. I think they'll get to see what happened to the rest of human race before it got wiped out.
I hope they still rescue Mori still. Like the baby didn't know anything about it either
