Question for girls that read bl

i just dont like seeing how women are portrayed in manga, whether it be straight or not. it comes off too girly or sexual or helpless both storywise and visually. not to say bl doesnt have any of those tropes (often times its very obvious that the uke is written like a female character and just drawn with a male body). i just have a weird repulsion......
