Ok so first of all I pretty much liked it. I really got what the author tried to say. But I felt like the ending was out of no where. Like the previous chapter made me feel like Masumi was finally ready to accept Touma's feelings even if he didn’t reciprocate it. The author went pretty in depth in their feelings in the previous chapters so it would have been great if the author showed how exactly did they end up together. Though I was happy to see Touma happy. If I ignore the last chapter I think it was a masterpiece
Yes, I agree with you, the last chapter surprised me too. It was kind of unexpected based on how things were going until then. It felt a bit forced and rushed, but it wasn't necessarily bad.
I would have loved to see how they got together too.

since someone's acting dumb under my comment about how the sister has a crush on her brother, let's do a recap of chapter 23:
-sister hears the convo about unrequited crushes (obviously romantic love) from her classmates
-sister gets a bracelets from her brother - she finds out he wasn't the one that picked it out, obviously very disappointed about it (blushing page while she's thinking of him not choosing it himself)
- in the EXACT next page (after believing her brother didn't actually put effort to pick the bracelet for her) her train of thoughts is related to the overheard conversation about how someone has a CRUSH on a guy that would NEVER return her feelings (while she's also saying "I'm stupid") (reminder: while thinking of her brother)
-page 33 monologue (after they cleared up the misunderstanding): " if MY FEELINGS can't reach him, at least i want you to be happy"
-page 34 monologue: "im not going to get a boyfriend, you're way cooler than him"
In the first chapters she also told her brother, after he came out and he asked her if she sees him as "weird", that she's also the "same". I interpreted that as her being a lesbian at first but after ch23. it's obvious she was talking about the "being weird" part (having a crush on her brother) rather than her sexuality
there's probably more hints in ahead chapter but i haven read beyond 23 to know ab it
how some of you don't see that as a hint of romantic interest is beyond me, your reading comprehension is quite low
if the author wanted to make this seem as just a sister admiring her older brother, they did a horrible job at it; it could also be a translation problem but im highly doubtful of that
also the "i have an impossible love" comment while looking at her brother which... literally makes this so obviously you gotta be dumb not to understand it
i just ignore that plot point bc is just super weird and idc about the sister honestly
yeah it doesn't really affect the story, which is why im not hating on the story itself
just a very unnecessary and weird plot point and i find it weird that so many people are so defensive of what it is or have lower reading comprehension than a 3rd grader
