The mystery is as good as the art style, it's just that the relationships are a bit confusing but I think they will make sense with more chapters out.

In my opinion he is still uru if uru was raised in a different environment he would become kake. When he became a shiki he was like an infant with no memories it was like he grew up again in a different situation. But it's impossible for him to have a soul other than uru's. If he has a soul unlike other shikis then it must be uru's. I think that must be why he easily fell for tenyoh.
