I kinda feel bad for Taku. However, that scene shows that Haesoo did try in that trial relationship even if Taku enforced it on him. Haesoo was kind with him even till the end. Yeah Taku was hurt but his relationship with Haesoo took his arrogance down a notch. He probably stopped playing with people’s feelings and it maybe changed him for the better. Even till the end, he was selfish but maybe that’s just how their story will end. Their relationship made both of them learn a lot of things for themselves
yes this!! i felt like taku being better for his future partner is more implied rather than showmn. because honestly... I dont feel like he treated haesoo all that well. but i suppose it was in the nature of their relationship since they were using each other almost the whole time.
Yeah he didn’t deserve a bit of pity but I’m a pretty empathetic person. I’m talking about how it looks painful seeing a person like that even if HE DID BROUGHT IT UPON HIMSELF. That’s why LoH is a really good story cause we see how selfish people can be just like in Taku’s case. I’m not saying his actions are right but I did feel bad in that single panel lol. All the other things he did to Haesoo still made me mad. Even if he was selfish until the end, I actually hope he’ll change for the better cause that’s just how I wish people to be in reality. They do toxic shit but it’s not like they can’t change? Joowon and Haesoo are finally living the time of their lives while Taku is probs with a new guy. It just shows that his previous relationship with Haesoo will actually be a catalyst for him to stop fucking with people’s feelings
Definitely! All of his actions towards Haesoo screamed “ME”. Idk when was the last time he actually considered Haesoo’s feelings but everything he’s done up till their end showed how much he wanted Haesoo to give him that yearnful gaze he gave Joowon. Hitting him with all the negative aspects in a relationship probs made him realize that not everything in life is sweet as his jar of candy ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I’m no expert in love but ever since reading LoH, it gave me a whole new perspective on a lot of things. Idk like sometimes you will never understand why a person is the way they are especially when you start liking someone. You will experience that “push and pull” as if you don’t know whether to pursue them or not. I’ve never thought that people think this way when they are actually thrusted into a love relationship. Such as the detailed thought process that the author tried to portray in these characters. It’s the reason why I really love this story :> it opened me to more ways into how people feel or do when they do like someone. Psh don’t mind my sentimentality omg

Right? This manhwa really did hurt me in the most painful way. It’s as if you can hear and experience what her characters feel. I feel like I’d be left somewhat empty once this ends because it’s been a long journey since I started reading this. I’ve never tried giving writing a chance cause I feel like I’d never be able to convey perfectly what I want to say ahhh which is why I enjoyed reading her stories. She was able to give such beautiful depth and explanations for the characters causes. I can definitely see how hard it is which is why I admire how she was able to do that!! It’s making me curious now as to what route she will try next cause I’ll surely keep tabs on it

Idk I still can’t stand how the two brothers turned a blind eye at Senianna before. In Gawain’s case tho, his was understandable since he was hurt and mad then didn’t know the severity of her abuse. However, for Lancelot...he literally has NO EXCUSE then now acknowledges her just cause she’s “cute” and finally got the attention of their grandfather. How convenient is that huh? She should proceed with her plan of running away! At least all of them will be living separate lives and no one’s gonna end up hurting each other (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Is it just me? I actually like the simplicity of the conversation of their ex-married parents. They finally open up to their mistakes in putting pressure/aiming perfection/lack of attention to their children. Joowon and Haesoo both experienced a lot of pain under their parents then were thrusted into this “playhouse marriage” they had. Tbh, it’s rightfully so that they divorced cause I want each of their parents to fix their problems with them. Joowon and Haesoo finally had the courage to say what they feel to their parents after a long while. I just wish for the happiness of all of them as they move forward

Tbh, when I read the novel...I kept cringing at Tess’s actions maybe cause they’re 13 or 14 around the time Tess wanted to be with Arthur. In the other world, Arthur says he was around 30-40 years old and it doesn’t sit right with him to even look at her that way cause duh he sees her as too young. I get his sentiment which is why I don’t ship them at all. This novel/webtoon doesn’t even need the romance. I just wanna see Arthur in his journey to becoming the best quad-elemental mage out there.

No he didn't have any of that in his past life, he mentioned that he didnt want somebody in his life that could be used as his weakness (aka hurt or kidnap those people to take advantage of him) he also mentioned that he didnt even want to have "sexual" relationships or flings with others because he believed that feelings can also develop just by having "sex" or flings with other people. That explains why he isn't "familiar" or inexperienced in love or expressing his feelings to other people.
