Am I the only one who thinks their relationship is not advancing too fast? Like man, they may be too drown of skinship but... we are not yet absolutely sure if what's their feelings for each other. The pace of the story is very much fine. Not too fast, not too slow though.

Playing safe is different from doing totally nothing. If you know those monsters outpowered you, the fact that you still have a great power, and say well-known for being one of the most highly powerful hunter, and additionally, the era where hunters are heroes, why not just help a little somehow just doing the support will do like killing those low level monsters as long you think you can. That's not bad at all. I know there's a circumstance where inevitable accidents may occur which may result to death but again, just play safe if that's what you want. Or else, you're a hero for nothing. Besides, just helping people out there to evacuate from danger is a heroine gesture already. :)
We have different perspective though when it's come to being a hero hence I respect if that's how yall think.
True, but even if youâre strong, you have a thought to live your own life as well. If youâre going to be the hero and try to help with as many gates as possible youâre inevitably going to burn out and/or start only living life for others. Whatâs the point of living a life like that?
The result doesnât need to be death for you to regret something either. You can miss important days where you bond with your family and friends. Maybe you only lost a finger during the raid. Sacrifice is a sacrifice and no one is required to do it/no one should be telling people to sacrifice themselves just because âthey canâ

If you choose to treasure your life in order for you to create memories with your love ones, etc. and help others if you want, then okay. Me, myself, is not a type of person who would sit still knowing that I can do something. If I die, then that's my fate. Regarding to my comment, what I mean is you don't have to stripped off a country before you gonna help (I am referring to the dead hunter I forgot the name before chris) thus I thought the same way to Chris (coz am not yet reach this part of the novel)

Am I weird if I say, the story is BEAUTIFUL? I cannot elaborate it exactly but nonetheless, it's just too wholesome and realistic (but set in fantasy genre lol) but one thing I wanted to say is that, not all humans are right and not d/evil at all. Just because you saw a species with different appearance with different type of way to survive, yall have to conclude that it is an evil/devil being. We know nothing about their side. We never know, like the incubus, he is inculpable and saint. It is not Manuel the lover and the incubus who are the HEARTLESS but rather it's the humans(specifically the hunters). After all, we never thought that in the end we are the evil being we never expect we are. There's a lot of lessons to mention but yeah. This is a freaking art piece.
