i think the ending was weak ...hiroi was feeling jealous so y did he keep continuing sharing mine
also mine and taka were falling 4 each other so wat happens to that
I think the idea of this story s that they shared different kinds of attraction to one-another; for example, Take felt romantic attraction toward Mine, but Mine felt physical attraction toward him, Hiroi and Take shared a platonic/friendship relationship, while Hiroi and Mine shared romantic attraction (though Hiroi's side is a bit different to Mine's).
In the end, I think the mangaka is trying to create fairness between the three by showing that there is no comparison between the attractions. Hiroi never see Mine as second place to Take or vice versa, because the two are important for different reasons for him. Thus, there should be no competition (as in "You can have his body, but I have his heart" kind of way. This dynamic offered a unique depth to the story and opened rooms for discussion IMO. And I also think letting the story as it is, without blatantly pushing the character to change their ways to follow the typical happy ending, makes it realistic.
All we can learn is that, threesome is not your typical relationship; there should be some jealousy and you need great tolerance.
Excellent analysis! Mine can be considered sort of the catalyst that exposed the inequity in Take's and Hiroi's relationship, how Take started started resenting his complete lack of power in the decision making process, to always receive Hiroi's sort of "hand me downs". It is very telling when Take reflects, sort of resentfully, how it is always Hiroi the one to penetrate Mine first, how Hiroi arbitrarily came up with the "three times only" rule, etc.; again, it is with Mine that Take starts "rebelling", becoming more assertive during sex, which Hiroi immediately notices and kind of resents himself. I personally feel like the dynamics of the relationship based on Take's resentfulness, Hiroi's insecurities, Take's and Mine's attraction and everyone's jealousies were not fully developed. The resolution felt a bit out of place, as if everyone's feelings were brushed aside without being either fully reconciled or at least discussed or openly acknowledged. The five elements of plot structure is composed of exposition, conflict, climax, winding down to final conclusion, and in this story the mangaka went from conflict to happy ever after, totally bypassing the middle - the climax and wind down. I still enjoyed it immensely, though, I just wish there was more.
I completely agree with you. I would add that the lack of power in the decision is present in Mine too, if he wants to share Take and Mine the same way they do with him he recieve as answer the despise of Take as a way of maintaine the inequality between Take and Hiroi( as he explain to Hiroi afterwards) to not get Hiroi jealouse. They all brussh off these issues and continue which I think is unhealthy for the relationship.
Exactly. Take had to maintain an antagonistic attitude towards Mine in order to maintain that emotional barrier so that Hiroi wouldn't feel threatened, or at least, his "alpha" position in the relationship challenged. I mean, Hiroi never had any compunction in having "solo" sex with Mine, he even told Take in one occasion that he (Take) could join them if he "wanted to", meaning he was going to have sex with Mine whether Take participated or not; also, he lied about only having sex with Mine 3 times when Take wasn't present. So at the end of the day this threesome is nowhere near harmonious when Take and Mine are implicitly prohibited from connecting emotionally with each other, and for them to act or play happy house at the end doesn't feel right when all of these issues have not been resolved; definitely not a recipe for a well balanced and happy relationship, at least not on the long run.
the story about the brothers... can this really happen in real life? like two brothers fall in love?
i low key kinda dig the brother complex thing so i hope. ヾ(☆▽☆)
Yeah...I sort of know this non identical twins that, well, I meet them at college, and I though they seem oddly close, and after months of being friends with them I got them drunk and they started to make out and it was really hot and apparently they've been together for years, but don't have the courage to come out to people
omgggg!! even if they tell ppl i don't think anyone's gonna believe they're rly in love, they'll probably think it's just brotherly love between twins... but don't they find it weird themself?
Dig it soooo HARD it is reminding me of Kaoru and Hikaru from OHSHC (if you don't get it,its Ouran High School Host Club) (▰˘◡˘▰)
ahh me too, I would really love to see that in real life, I actually know some girls with a brother complex or a sister complex, boys with a sister complex but ive never yet seen an actual guy with one for his brother...(≧∀≦)
…that's just beautiful
