He's the type of person that likes to be relied on. When he can't get it up for his wife and his wife started to have a part-time job, he felt useless. His wife wasn't relying on him anymore. I think it turned his mojo off. That's also the reason why he got aroused when Saori went to him because she relied on him. He also focused on work so he can provide for Jun so she'll rely on him. Due to this I feel like he doesn't like being inferior to her.
