how come I have never heard of this before?! Literally I feel sad this flew under my radar until today. Its just very good quality with cute art style and well developed story (no wonder its a novel adaptation) Light read with moderate suspense and comedy! 12/10
Bonus for the fact that story wraps up under 30 chapters! Def deserves to be much higher on the popular manhwa ranking (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Reincarnation fan service alt ending is not really my thing, I think the story was touching & powerful as it was, as I am a sucker for realism TT_TT so Imma pretend it never happened (but im still happy for the parallel universe Gusam and Suchae </3 )
but my only real qualm is that we are left hanging in terms of how the original murder happened and those loose ends with K were never tied... Like why were we introduced to the timid guy who was bullied by K? Some parts were left untold and I dont know if it was a storytelling choice or was unintentional because the author wanted to wrap the story up...
but again thats how life be sometimes.. </3
Anyway, touching story, 12/10
I think they introduce us to the timid guy to show us that K is already violent, so it wouldn’t be out of character for him to have killed someone. It’s obvious that K drugged Gusam somehow (likely laced the cigarette he offered), so while it isn’t written in stone, you can kind of out two and two together...
no yeah I totally get that, it is quite clear that's how the murder happened but I meant in terms of how one of the policemen was kinda suspicious of K and they even had the scene with the timid guy at the police station so they were kinda sorta onto the fact that there was something fishy about K and then nothing came out of it, and case was (supposedly) closed.
But actually we don't know if the case was closed after all since the primary suspect committing suicide does not necessarily make him guilty but given the story i guess it was.
I am now sure when this happened but I just noticed it and I applaud the decision to take the yaoi tag off of this manhwa!
