nah i really can’t with this….first off, they moved on from being children too quickly, like at least show us the development of them starting to trust their father…and her punishment pissed me off because what do you mean at least no one got hurt?? that stupid nanny was blaming all her problems on her cuz she wanted her kid to be raised beside the duke’s children so instead of raising her properly, you bitch and whine and try to KILL HER?? AND SHE LET HER OFF WITH A “oh at least no one got hurt”, let’s not forget to mention that the male lead (i’m assuming cuz it’s obvious and he’s on the cover) immediately wants her gaze to be his??? bro you two met for like 5 minutes tops
Hm... tbh... it really was fast... but I kinda prefer that. It kinda makes more sense than having kids being focused on too much and meeting each other frequently as kids before growing up. I'd get it if the kids were mistreated or taught weird things by malicious tutors... or if the relationship with the Duke was too strained... but since it was not and they had a normal childhood after her talk with him it's better this way otherwise it gets too draggy. About the nanny.. I would agree if she wanted that so her child could climb the social ladder through it. But it was not the case. Her child was sickly and the late, I presume, Duchess had allowed her to bring the child in so the nanny could raise them herself with the twins which was blocked by the Duke because of mc's existence.. so I don't blame her for thinking that if mc disappeared she could bring her child in as originally planned. The reason mc went easy on her is not as much because she failed to do harm but more for the sake of the nanny's child as well as the fact she didn't mean to use or harm the twins. Not being allowed to work and appearing on social circles is basically permanent house arrest... I'm usually against too nice mc's... but this case in specific I can understand. Lastly... about ml... I think that she may have kind of the same effect on him as the ogMc. Her because of the spirits and mc because her soul is not from that world or because she shouldn't even be alive... but the fact that her presence near him kinda weakens the curse is pretty obvious.. allowing him to feel emotions which would justify his sudden feelings as well as an instinct to get closer to her... All in all in this at least they explain why they all get drawn to her and not just mc halo it...
