Wow. All I wanted to say was how I delighted I am that Mifenpink subverted a typical trope in manhua (NOT a cliche) by having the adoptive parents actually care about their daughter (I should have added) despite the fact they're also very greedy. But since I have to open up the topic list in order to make sure my own topic sticks, thus unintentionally reading what others will say about the story, I feel I also have to say this now:

Unfortunately once again it looks like I'm going down into the rabbit hole and reading actual cringey af comments. So here's a warning before I continue with saying this: now, the very obvious impression they're giving; 'How dare a victim be victimized!'. 'How dare the author force us to read about victims who react like victims rather than the typical actually misogynistic one-dimensional female character!' 'How dare a female character have flaws and emotions since only male characters should ever be allowed to have character depth!'

Yeah the ML is being exactly like what I've described yet no one complains about him. Hope the girl finds out she's their daughter before Marco or anyone else in the family does and gives them the cold shoulder. She was happy with her adoptive parents but that doesn't mean her happiness can't change at a moment's notice either.

Callisto finally redeemed himself in chapter 72. Now he and Eclise are the only male characters I like... for good reason, obviously. And Lonax you're not the only one. And yes I totally understand how the Dad can at least start to become likeable. I guess a lot of people don't read these kinds of stories because if they did they wouldn't be saying that stuff about the FL going back to her previous world. Yeah I understand what you're saying, Idk! Even with spoilers I still place Eclise at the top now tied with Callisto!

Certain users once again don't understand how stories work as well as don't like to learn how to read properly. Please learn to read people. She. Was. Brainwashed. Ffs, for the third fing time, *she* *was* *brainwashed*. Par for the course that if it's in lieu of victim blaming reading properly doesn't happen though. Do people really love being as FUCKING 'S*****' as *they* claim the characters are?????? Read the fing story. You've been told that multiple times now. Also stop calling a story boring because you think it moves too fast then call another story boring because you think it moves too slow. All it does is make others believe with better evidence that you aren't reading properly.

So the Duke turned out better than I thought. And now he turned out to be shit again.

Sorry peeps but I... really like this one. The daughter's cute. The FL's a f*cking sweetheart. And the MC is absolutely adorable!

Kind of abusive. If your kids a genius so f*cking what? You just made her feel like utter sh!t. And you don't care. Expected better from you. I guess you're at least better than Claude but that's all I can say... FOR NOW. Ugh so you still don't freaking get it 'daddy'? These were all things you should have told her BEFORE you brought her to the psychologist. Thinking she's a genius would give you more reason to inform her not less. Man you're not a genius at all are you (no, I'm not being sarcastic)? He's still a 'd******'. I wouldn't want to call someone like him Daddy ever. With each chapter I fing loathe the dad more and more. Yuck.

Of Solo Leveling, ORV, Trash Count and this one, this is my favorite. I hated the MC in the third, the spoilers turned me off the second (yes I read ORV before I started reading this one so no this has nothing to do with a 'what I read first' bias. And yes I've read spoilers about this one. So there's no bias there either) and Solo Leveling was just boring.

There's also no unnecessary reveal. These characters play an important part in the story. OBVIOUSLY. There's no need for us to be informed of them at all prior to their full introduction. Besides, I don't think someone who missed the hints about our MC being the original Choi Yuseong (such as when the siblings discussed why they would be loyal to the MC?) should be talking about lack of foreshadowing. Oops?

Full disclosure, but I'm not a fan of Kim Dojin. BUT I absolutely love these two's interactions with each other! So hilarious!
