I love the tension and everything but my chest still hurts for Taeshin, he looked so innocent :( idk why his death hurt me even though we barely saw him. He was a very lonely, taken for granted, and sweet character. MC definitely didn’t deserve him as a friend. R.I.P. Taeshin
This, that guy deserve better
I know japan has different cultural norms but I wanted the black haired guy to be YEARNING after the blondie. I felt like he was WAY too calm and easy going towards the mc. Like “oh yeah my ex died” “oh so you kissed me first, want to be boyfriends? alr” and the fact that blondie gave him time to figure out his feelings and spent like a month without talking to him, and he didn’t really confess how he felt towards mc, just said I love you?? idk maybe I read way too many stories about tops literally begging ON THEIR KNEES for an ounce of love towards their ukes, that this felt lukewarm at best

But most of those other tops you say beg on their knees were typically red flags toxic that were begging because they did something unforgivable. This one was more realistic and is an instant green flag. No reason to rush a relationship, especially since they didn't fully settle their feelings. And of course the love for eachother they felt wasn't the same it was originally unrequited, with years of seperation. And they used to be friends, it's a pretty big change. Sorry that u felt this was lukewarm. I absolutely love this one
