so random?? so unnecessary?? so disturbing?? so out of character?? this made me so uncomfortable because this adds absolutely NOTHING to the argument nor story (imo rape never does but..). and after such an unprecedented event the victim isnt acting distraught and pays almost no means to it??????? WHAT????? this is pathetic. there could have been so many other options that wouldve been so much more gut wrenching and sad than this pure act of violence. creating a whole plot on this lie and executing the reveal to such a low level is just disrespectful. throw the whole thing away or redo that chapter because it is INSANE.
