the buildup to the acknowledgement from bihwan that minchan and seoho are separate identities was soooo fucking worth it and good. i was so satisfied with the climax

the art is very pretty, but i feel the manhwa (and translation) doesn't do justice to the story due to panel and writing limitations. i encourage people to read the novel to enjoy the entire story. it's very beautifully written and the translation is complete

i cant hate diane even if she is meant to be the villainess in this story. i see her as a woman who was taken advantage of by her brother and uncle. she did bad things and was foolishly blinded by her love, but her mocking the emperor and acknowledging the difference between her and Adelaide made it clear to me that she was just someone who wanted love because she was given none by the people around her. her body and "baby" was simply a means to an end by her brother and uncle to secure more power. she could never have anything for herself.
