Kiki created a topic of Turning

I'm happy I almost always willing to take adaptations on their own merits. The most annoying and useless critiques are "this is not like the novel" :( like eureka you figured it out, congratulations.

This is legitimately one of the best idol stories I've read it's so wholesome and sweet, didn't even mind Kei-san kinda quick confession. Him recharging with Tomo-kun's image was such an amazing choice. All the feels for this one.

Kiki created a topic of X's partner

I can't do this. I'll check in every now and again but Jaerim isn't even fit to be shit on the bottom of Taejin's shoe. Why are these BL creators addicted to rape narratives? It's disturbing.

Kiki created a topic of An egocentric way of thinking

Why is everyone so mad? Isn't it obvious that the creator is having a laugh? So much of this seems very intentionally over the top, from the art to the nonsensical couple shenanigans but so many here take it at face value. The plot does seem to be going nowhere in particular tho.

Kiki created a topic of Beyond Memories

It's dragged on for so long I don't care anymore. Confess, use the gun, whatever, I need the story to move out of its stagnancy. It's chapter 70 and and we have not moved from this dynamic of kinda close to distant strangers vibes to maybe? to strangers again to possible? to strangers. The only real story development on page has happened with Sejin disentangling himself from his toxic family. I'm so disengaged from the Deep Dark Secret, that I would be happy if Ido dropped out of the story completely and Seijin's life and how he learned to thrive became the entire plot.

I apologise to Noona, she came through clutch. I'm awaiting judgement on the mum but I'm rooting for her. They all definitely need to talk.

Kiki created a topic of The Hounds of Sisyphus

Watch Guwon wid lyrics! (≧∀≦) I'm nervous. Lololol. What's really going on here.

"Choi Taehun, save the tantrum for the bedroom."

*scream*

That line bax mi dung.

Kiki created a topic of Define The Relationship

We did a full webtoon that dealt with Karlyle's insecurities. I thought the side stories would finally take us somewhere diffferent with the characters. Even if it's more conflict, something *different*. What's the point of continuing the story then? I'll pass.

Kiki created a topic of Stranger Than Friends

Wanted to check in to see if it wasn't as horrible as it seemed it was going to be. It's worse, hurray. :( The boss needs to be institutionalised, Dajeong needs support in getting out of this, and the readers calling him variations of "stupid" or "spineless" need a brain revamp. He is in deep mourning for his mother and caught up in this intense, dysfunctional attachment to the one person in his life with any connection to the most formative years of his life. If he cuts him off it will contribute to him feeling completely unmoored from his sense of self. It's also a readily available relationship intense enough to offer a kind of escape from that reality. Webtoons always turn the dynamics up to the nth power but the basic factors at work here are not indecipherable hieroglyphics, damn. I know it's frustrating to witness but oof.

Anyway, I wish webtoon creators did interviews because I truly want to know what in tarnation possessed Yeoro to go in this direction. Either way I'm out.

Kiki created a topic of Beyond Memories

Your whole family and your first love could have died, you don't get to adopt an attitude of wounded indignation in this relationship.

Kiki created a topic of Shadow of the Moon (yunee)

The poem! The stockings lolol. Happy Christmas, MGS!!! Thanks for the 3 chapter treat. ヾ(☆▽☆)

Kiki created a topic of Stranger Than Friends

As soon as he gave that crap apology I prayed for The Truck to finish him off only for it to get the mum instead. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Kiki created a topic of Don't Mess With the Puppy!

Thanks so much for your translation, Moonflower Gems!!! Totally sold on supporting the official and in my birthday month too.

Kiki created a topic of Toxin

I wonder if Korean academics or anyone has ever studied the prevalence of extreme sexual violence in BL manhwas and what motivates the creators. Yes, there is "dark romance" (which isn't enough of an explanation because there are many ways to do "dark" it doesn't *have* to be rape, or the ML at the very least doesn't have to be the rapist) but even in the so called "lighter" titles, sexual assault and rape are incredibly common (MC is stumbling drunk but ML takes it as a green light). I'm just curious at this point? Is it really only to satisfy the market...?

Is it the same in the straight titles? GL? I read GL manga and manhua mostly and they are never this extreme although some do have the predatory lesbian trope. (I am also, admittedly, a lot more selective with what I read for GL than BL. )

I dropped Painter in the Night and I think I'm destined to do the same here, despite being invested in the MC's story. I read maybe a third of this chapter because I scrolled rapidly through all the horrors.

Kiki created a topic of Rivalry

I swear these authors are trolling us with the same three plots but also they work too hard for it to be trolling.

Kiki created a topic of Our Sunny Days

As simple as that. That empathethic assessment of that girl and her actions was the simplest thing to arrive at. No idea why it was beyond so many.

Kiki created a topic of An egocentric way of thinking

Ah, I appreciate this chapter focus on the particular difficulties queer couples experience when it comes to initimate partner violence. When the state doesn't recognise their identity and relationship it makes them more vulnerable.

Kiki created a topic of Projection

Couldn't this just stay a family drama and our boy could date someone ELSE? This dynamic is wonderful. I'm probably gonna drop it when it gets weird.
