Ah don't worry about taking a long time to translate this chapter was really good!

This is SO good had to subscribe on Tappytoon immediately.

Does it mean he knows about Yeonjo plotting against him? I'm confused

I don't mind waiting. But I'm also not too fussed either way. For anime I'm rewatching HxH '11 actually. Loving it even more second time around. It is truly truly truly the best shonen, no competition. I'm catching up on Sound Euphonium and about to bawl my eyes out based on what I've heard happened in the last couple of episodes.

Just started this and can't believe it's not at ten stars. The art and writing is better than 99% of the other titles here. Tragedy tag is scaring me tho, I usually avoid those.

I hate how sharp the father is. Taeheon is going to have to level his game up in order to best him.

Folx expectations of characters acting like "mature adults" and acting like "real human beings" always come off as incredibly naive to me. Have you stepped outside and looked at the world lately...? Don't you have friends? Or just exist among different human groups. I wonder if you realise that if your own lives were made into a webtoon how contrived and "immature" and stupid many of your actions would seem to the reader. (I know mine would. But also he's got crazy untreated trauma and history of abuse. Of course, his decision making skills are whack.)

From a different angle, sometimes I think those kind of critiques make sense and sometimes I wonder if we don't realize how completely bonkers these plots are and the line we draw on what's "contrived" is hilarious . If Sejoon was the sensible adult human mature wisdom titan there's no way he should have allowed some random mafia dude to take over his life in the first place...and certainly *after* the reveal he shouldn't ask for *time* he should maybe plan to leave the country to escape all these obsessive psychos, one of whom takes a pledge of love to 5 year old seriously.

Omg the artist change has just about ruined this for me! I was ready to continue reading in Tappytoon but the change is too drastic. Lemme go back and unsubscribe 'cause nu uh. I hope Bada is okay and the change didn't happen for health reasons.

Mind you the way it's written predisposes folx to sympathize with Taehon. (And dick gobbling as Sejun's immediate response is truly a bad/ridiculous writer decision please lol.) But what's not clicking? Taehon was involved in the murder of one parent and the permanent disabling of another even if it was as a helpless pawn. Is Sejun supposed to get over that in 5 minutes? Do your parents hate you that much that you can't figure out why Sejun is angry and thoughts of "he was a child" aren't particularly helpful in his processing of this traumatic reveal? Is it that difficult to discern how unmoored he feels in learning that the person who helped him escape his deceptive, manipulative cousin was also actively deceiving him in turn? (Which is why he has put things back on purely transactional terms.) That indeed he was connected to the circumstances that placed him in that abusive situation. From his pov this is a fucking horror show he can't escape. The writer isn't actually giving this development the weight it deserves...which is exactly why you're all annoyed and mad at Sejun (also you too are dick addled) so...nevermind. Carry on lol. Boo Sejun you hor. (●'β—‘'●)οΎ‰

Me: Damn, bredda looks crazed.
Him: He looks like a kid in a candy shop.
Me: ...you should probably have that kid checked out.

I started out wanting Ian and Joseph together. I know so many prefer the lead that will have man dodging bullets and being targeted in his enemy's gangbang revenge plot but I love the sweet and supportive type who bakes bread and takes his man out to watch meteor showers, always!

Love (that involves respect and trust) cannot be about lies, secrets and manipulation until you're forced to tell the truth. We understand why Taehon hid the truth from him but it was wrong. Period. He had time to tell Sejun the truth and he didn't because of his guilt over a terrible secret. He was a child then and a victim, yes. But so was Sejun. And as adults Taehon chose to treat Sejun as if he was still 5 so he could perform the rescue he couldn't then but in the process made Sejun a victim of others machinations and manipulations all over again.

He has every right to feel betrayed and to conclude that Taehon was only using him. If for nothing Sejun should have had the choice of deciding if he wanted to become this emotionally entangled with someone connected to the most traumatic, painful part of his life. I for sure wouldn't. There is not enough therapy money or good dick in the world.

(I mean OBV I want them to end up together. I am here for the fucked up storylines and over the top angst. But if Sejun heard this story and his reaction was "OMG, you really do love me. " I would have thought he was deaf or crack addled.)
