This read like three seasons worth of story smooshed into one. Ricky's plot to use Jaewoo as a pawn to trap Rohan was the first. We could have gotten a more fleshed out story about that rivalry between Risky and Rohan alongside the whatever between Risky and Jaewoo. (That way an actual reason/motivation for burning down a whole town could have been developed !) Second season would be Jaewoo's rise as a mafia boss with Rohan. Right now he just looks like a kid who went to gym on a free membership trial please be serious. (We could have gotten more insight into Risky + Doctor's backstory too.) Then the third could be Risky and Jaewoo reunion as equals in whatever this nonsense Centineo blah blah is.

Yes he is an asshole. No argument there, but said male lead was abused by his father at 8 yr old and for who knows how long after..... ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Who's to say it wasn't the same for the dad you're so quick to write off? It really doesn't matter. I know webtoons and anime like to make abusive childhoods a sympathetic shield for abusive, controlling, manipulative adults in order to make their crimes against others seem lesser or not that bad somehow but it's bullshit. (And dangerous perpetuation of a patriarchal myth but I don't want to get that serious.) This is a toxic, romanticised abuse story from top to bottom, and the harm done to Yejun will never be fully acknowledged or addressed in the story in order to make the romance work.
So, since I am aware of my trash reading tastes...the dad. :p

I don't mind waiting. But I'm also not too fussed either way. For anime I'm rewatching HxH '11 actually. Loving it even more second time around. It is truly truly truly the best shonen, no competition. I'm catching up on Sound Euphonium and about to bawl my eyes out based on what I've heard happened in the last couple of episodes.
