they changed so much :/ im not sure if they did that in consideration to the length of the manhwa but everything went so fast that i felt like the manhwa readers were not able to actually see and feel what edith went thru. it was so much worse. just hoping they don't cut anything on the next chapter

it’s most likely censorship because this is on webtoon so they can’t show any graphic details but at least this way my girl won’t have to suffer as much:(((
Actually showing those means that you can connect to Edith and Killeon more If you have read the novel then you can feel tere pain and would have cried by there side I think that everyone who like this webtoon should go through the nove at least once
What really happened to Edith in the novel please? Was she tortured worse than this manhwa?
Oh yeah she was SEVERELY beaten and straight up has open wounds. When Cliff rescues Reese or whatever her name is and the duchess, Edith is still tied up and she’s sick and in pain and she’s hidden away in a different room. They leave her behind after checking the place because they didn’t find the room and they don’t know she’s there and she wakes in that room all cold and severely injured before she manages to escape.

soooo they really made a lot of changes from the novel and it somehow made the past few chapters so underwhelming. there are a lot of emotional scenes that i think a lot would really appreciate and sympathise with edith more. i think the changes made me feel less vindicated. but oh well. it is what it is
