I don't get it they call themselves mouse when human he has a mouse tail but when animal he is a hamster?

    Well he retains his tail in his mouse form as well, but he's also a mouse despite plumpness. You're likely more familiar with deer and house mice, which have slimmer bodies, but he's just a fat ass mouse tbh. His and his families' eyes particularly are quite large as well; where hamsters have smaller eyes generally, and otherwise depending on the species of mice and hamster, can look quite similar as relatives in the rodent family! Look up cute fat mouse and ull see some similarities between him and those mice lmao

    Yea japanese doesn't have a word to separate mice, rats, or voles, but its okay we can look past this. Regardless, they are a fat family of rodents, even for hamsters
