Real talk. Im not against smut scenes, in fact I love them, but it has the have a story. I dont care if it takes 10 chapters before a good smut scene or what. Idc if a sex scene lasts for 5 chapters or more thereafter. Please do not equate yaoi to simply sex. There has to be an intimacy. One good example maybe is the new employee. Give us foreplay. Give us the plot im begging you. More importantly, a conflict should promote communication, not sex alone argh so frustrating. I dropped a lot of potentially good manhwa bec of this trope.
EXACTLY, We need more reality and the reality is not always sex. I'm not against it but like you said it's just bad that they find a solution in sex other than words.

In terms of plot, I think it would be ok if someone would hit on haebom and make taesung jealous for a change. Coz weve seen how many people hit on taesung and express about love (ex, the red haired bch in college, the sexual harrasser) which made our cute baby haebom overthink and jealous while taesung, hmmm, was just anxious because he finally had his love for 12 yrs reciprocated so he dont want to, like, have it taken away. Well yeah the sexual harrasser initially targetted haebom + the disgusting sunbae from college before who stole the scarf, but its like no one professed their love for haebom just yet. Despite the angst of what I want, i still want it to be light and fluffy at the same time, like how it always has been :(((((

Chill Idk what ur pointing at but uke and seme does not really pertain to sex for me. Its more about their positions in love. And since i dont usually remember names of characters, thats how i pertain to them, simply. And shounen ai still has seme and uke even though it does not have any sexual content yknow.
If i say seme, then the char is more on the manly man side of the relationship. With characteristics often stereotyped to males in a hetero relationship. But what im really saying is that in the story, i still want the brother and the redhead to pursue the guy who is good with animals (i’ll refer to him as an uke so its easy to remember)

He’s lost. He decided that he would forget it but then bam, he’s in a relationship. He did not expect anything from his unrequited love because they used to be (and still are) on the different sides of the spectrum. He’s anxious. And hey, sitong’s feelings are valid. He’s in love, yes, but he doesnt know until when this relationship would last. In the past, he would rather remain unrequited than pursue the love so what makes other people think that now that he’s with yizhen he’ll suddenly go all out? Thats not the case sweeties. Everything feels surreal for him. As he said, he’s losing in a losing relationship. He’s falling deeper into something uncertain. He tried his best to protect his heart but now he’s falling more for yizhen and he can’t and doesnt believe that they would even last. Would this break their relationship? Hopefully not. What sitong needs is assurance. Ok, some of you may say that zichen is the only one making efforts. But lemme tell you this, if you decide to pursue someone like sitong, then you should’ve prepared yourself to experience this. Dont get me wrong i love zichen so much hes my lockscreen(when he returned from the airport) but I hope he assure sitong more and more and open up his heart fully. Oh my god that's exactly what happened to me I dropped bj alex twice for the shitty behaviour of the seme and a little bit because of the uke but I picked it up afterwards and dont regret it it might not be the bestest of stories out there but it's worth to read
