Honestly I wish they kept the novel design where Rishiar did not have the same colored eyes as etienne because every time they have sex I'm constantly reminded they are related.

Ok first of all if their eyes are jewel-like only because of their second genders, why doesn't etienne's mother, a dominant omega, have jewel eyes? The answer is that only members of the IMPERIAL family who are alpha and omega have the jewel eyes.
Also, if he was adpoted by the king why is he considered a distant relative of the royal family instead of a direct member? Multiple people (including etienne's aunt) have pulled rank and told him not to challenge a direct member of the royal family. And which chapter does it say he was adopted? All I remember is that the King took him in after his father died. It seems more like the king took in a distant relative from eckhart family (who was related to him) rather than adopting a random kid off the street.

In one of the chapters it was mentioned that alphas and omegas have jewel eyes. Also the queen s red eyes have a sheen but you cant particularly see it fully bcs her eyes are redd and its already a very strong colour. Also he can be called a distant relative bcs some ducal families were given imperial last names to continue the bloodline in case the main didnt continue, but they arent always necessarily related. Though if they are I think its the fathers of each that are distant cousins which is fucking weird but I guess how that worked before and you would be right, but I still think it could be a mistranslation tho....

***This is a spoiler that is revealed in the last couple of chapters
An Zhe is an asexually reproducing mushroom, meaning that his spore is an identical clone of himself. This means that if/when his original body dies, his consciousness is transferred to the spore and the spore 'becomes' him again. So basically he can hypothetically live forever ig?

This is my review with minor and major spoilers which I have separated into two parts. The minor spoilers don't really give much away at all but the major spoilers explain my real problems with the story.
*Minor spoilers:
Honestly the story started out ok. I was immediately drawn to the main character's positive personality. I also thought arwin and noelle were cute together. However, as I progressed, the dialogue became kind of bad (for example the when Barnes sees the flowers in the desert and talks to himself about how he is hallucinating. That dialogue was so lengthy, repetiive and unnecessary).
At some points the author decided to rehash the characters thoughts/wants/desires multiple times (for example when the princess wanted Leticia to stay in the capital, first the side characters talked about the princess' intentions, and then the author skipped right to the princess inner monologue which basically told the readers everything the side characters JUST told us, therefore wasting our time. And don't even get me started on the last 10 chapters. Honestly that was my least favorite finale out of all the mangas/manhwas I have ever read, for reasons I will mention below:
MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW
Honestly I really disliked the finale. And it is a shame for how much I initially liked the story. How many times are they going to kill and revive a person? Honestly I thought the majority of Julian's arc was done after it was revealed he knew he was going to die. And then the villian somehow revived him, just to torture him? And then he died again? And then they brought him back to life again? By the time he had died for the second time I was so done. It had already been firmly established that Julian was dead for ~120 chapters, so it really didn't feel satisfying for him to be randomly revived two times again. Just let his soul rest in peace please?
If the author really wanted to revive him later on, they should have hinted at it throughout the story so that his presence was at the back of readers minds. Maybe Leticia sees Julian in her dreams frequently? Or there is a "force" that occasionally helps her out which is later revealed to be Julian?
I didn't really enjoy the concept of the wings, either. The fact that they instinctively feel positive feelings towards Leticia brings into question their own free will. Not to mention the concept of 'the balance' was iffy to me. They made it seem like the balance was an inherent, 'subconscious' part of the world, but instead it ended up being a random monster who people strike deals with? And for some reason the almighty dragon and goddess cannot defeat it?
Lastly, it was quite unsatisfying for the real villian to not be an actual person but just "the darkness" who is an inherently evil being? It just didn't really feel satisfying that the main characters were basically pawns fighting someone else's war against a force that in reality didn't have a grudge against any of them in particular. I mean, sure, the darkness wanted to see Leticia suffer. But that was only because it wanted to get revenge on the goddess.
Now for my petty complaints: honestly it was annoying how everything in the world seemed to revolve around Leticia. I mean, I know she is the main character, but the chapter where it said the princess displayed her 'submission" to Leticia in front of the public? I abosolutly CRINGED at this. Really.
What is even so special about Leticia? Not trying to be mean, but she was born into wealth and status and is the chosen one by the goddess. Yes, she was abused, but as we saw in the story, many commoners were also abused, taken advantage of, killed, etc, so abuse is not specific to Leticia.
I say this to say: it is not a problem that Leticia is the main character, but it is a problem that everything in the world revolves around her when (in my opinion), there is nothing super extraordinary about her outside of her supernatural powers and status, which she was born into. Was she even able to achieve anything without using her wealth, powers or status? Debateable.
If you made it this far, thank you for coming to my 2am ted talk. Leave a comment if you agree/disagree I'd love to discuss!

can someone please explain to me how this is not grooming?

Why this is grooming (though not in the most common way)
Definition of grooming: the action of attempting to form a relationship with a child or young person, with the intention of sexually assaulting them or inducing them to commit an illegal act such as selling drugs or joining a terrorist organization.
In this case, FL basically teaches the ML to be a tyrant to get her revenge. So falling under the category of inducing them to commit an illegal act (or acts since becoming a tyrant basically means killing numerous).
Personally I don't care for this sort of grooming in this manhwa particularly. Mainly because
1. It's fiction I could care less.
2. FL doesn't groom him sexually. Tbh the only thing she does is misguide him during his lessons so he becomes a tyrant instead of a proper ruler. I believe the actual reason ML fell for FL is because she was near his age (in appearance), FL is super pretty, and FL was the only one to "care" for him beside his mother. Also she helped his mother die painlessly. So, even if it was an actual nice person who just wanted to help him instead of FL, ML would have probably fell for her too.
(Just so you know I still call it grooming because it falls under the category of inducing him to crimes)

Honestly after reading season 1 I just feel like the story isn't that good. The sex doesn't feel rewarding because the literally had sex before they developed any chemistry (and honestly I feel like they lack that, too). Also the ml is so annoying. He keeps dragging the mc away for no reason. Literally all the mc has to say to the silver and blue aura dudes is that they would be a good match and they will stop bothering you guys! Stop dragging your boyfriend away before he can tell them that!!! I couldn't even bare to read the rest of season 2 beyond the amusement fair episode bc I was so annoyed

I've just read up to chapter 2 so far but here is my prediction: the reason the mc cannot see his own aura is because his aura is 'visible light' or white light which is the type of light that allows us to see in the day. the mc is a perfect match for the ml because the ml is 'rainbow' or in other words all the components of visible light when it is separated, so basically they have the same aura. I doubt this is correct but we will see.
Idk. I got up to chapter 14 but I am a bit bored. MC is expressionless and emotionless, there seems to be no objective to the plot other than to annoy her father and brother. And her father and brother are so powerless in front of her (and not very good villains) that there is no wondering "when" the villain will be defeated because they already have been, it like chapter 2 when they were made to look stupid... Is this worth it to continue?
YES
