Von, I think they are both jerks. I mean, yeah, Jesse was more spoiled, but if his parents had raised him to be a better person instead of teaching him everyone should cater to his whim and others were beneath him, maybe he's have turned out better. And Law's parent raised him to be a suck-up.

But luckily, I enjoy reading a story about two twisted jerks. Compassionate Jesse and genuinely supportive Law probably would have bored me to tears.

yup totally agree .. seems like i became more into manhwa cuz it doesn't have the cliche stuff that's in most of manga! it's so .. unexpected! but the cliffhangers are killing me T.T i know i whine a lot about it T.T but really T.T it's torture T.T

I think he did because they said he was drunk and then hung himself. They showed him hanging too. The new chapter just made it more clear because mafuyu asked if he would die for him and before that he said he'd do anything for mafuyu. Being in a drunken state, people do reckless things...

You are right, but some of us take the little things. Given that Lucaon's an ass (because part zero and all), it's a big deal (to me--and maybe Kyon). I hope this is a redemption story for Lucaon. Maybe he'll never be exactly the same as he was, but I want Kyon to bring him somewhere closer.

it is a big deal to Kyon! it's just .. i really feel bad for him .. and when i reread the prologue .. it doesn't seem like things will be fine! i don't want him to get hurt more than that already! Luca could have chained him and took all the energy he wanted .. but he didn't! actually may be Luca thinks that Kyon likes it like that! i really can't get over that chapter after he tore Kyon's clothes and called him! it's only been several months he said! he'll warm up a bit .. i hope!
