Ok as the OP, I looked at the answers and I agree that mob psycho 100 and One Punch Man would be great starter anime for the General audience, maybe even AOT (I'm not a huge Fan personally but can see the appeal) I also want to add Katanagatari cause its a personal favorite and just underrated but also a great first watch with adventure/Action + a ......
