Fumi while totally using him, still gave him a place to belong to where he could be himself, he never forced him to work there hence why he could quit whenever. They were both getting something out of this arrangement.
Second, it was never said when he met with the other guy, Mizuto just assumed it happened recently but it was probably before the story began. I think you may be getting mad over a misunderstanding Mizuto had.

Uhm no, Fumi was straight up abusive don't justify his behavior by saying they both wanted it to happen. He deserves jail time. PRONTO. Like he did not care about Mizuto at all, he only cared about the money. Even in the end he still thinks that he can manipulate him into staying because he thinks Mizuto is still stuck up straight obsessed with him.

Secondly, yeah I kinda agree with you on the guy thing. I think I kinda misread about that part I apologize for this one lol. Now that I reread that part in the chapter I think he was talking about his past and not his current one.

But I still disagree with the first part you said I hope you understand I just cannot forgive Fumi even if it was "mutual" in both sides. He does not have the right to do that to Mizuto when he knows how men were straight up abusive and almost murdered him. He still made people go to him like the past never happened. He knew how Mizuto was traumatized about that yet he didn't care and just wanted him to "endure" so that he can rescue him AFTER he gets abused by customers. No matter what. Fumi sucks and deserves more punishment than just losing one employee.

I never said they both wanted it to happen, I said they both gained something out of it. That's two different thing entirely. I never said Fumi wasn't trash or that he should be forgiven.
What I'm saying is Mizuto isn't dumb for staying, he was desperate. That's why he doesn't resent Fumi, because he was getting something out of the situation and wasn't really trapped, even if Fumi tried to manipulate him into staying he had nothing but words to keep him and Mizuto clearly knew it. Mizuto was in desperate need of someone accepting him for who he is, a place to belong and be truly himself. Also keep in mind that he never saw the true personality of Fumi before the end. From his PoV Fumi was at least caring.
