Ah yes the fountain has returned to haunt us all... again

i feel so fucking evil but it's just i want hwi to be happy.

So the chapter begins with Han lying on the bed going over in his head what just happened between him and Param wondering if Param regretted it... blah... blah.. blah. TF?! Who cares, its a done deal. (I just can't stand seeing him.)

Anyway, so the next scene finds Param hunched over and crying on the sidewalk in front of some guy. After Param gets up and begins to walk off, the guy realises that Param left his phone behind and hands it to him and asks for his number. Param says no, grabs it, and runs off.

Then, along comes Hwi and the two begin to talk. As it turns out, this was the same guy who was in one of Hwi's flashbacks a few chapters back. So it turns out these two have a lot of history as he helped out Hwi after his family fell on hard times financially and he gave Hwi his start in the gym and personal trainer industry. So, anyway, he is the guy Hwi was seen in a flashback in a compromising position at a gym. He teased Hwi for being gay and they sort of had a falling out. Fastforward to today, this guy has now fallen on hard times as the gym franchises that he runs have closed and he needs Hwi's help. Hwil agreed to let him use his gym for three months. The most interesting thing to come out of their conversation is that this guy says that he is now interested in men and that he is not as closed minded as he was back when he and Hwi first knew each other.

My take is this could set up drama in upcoming chapters. Will this guy make a move on Hwi? I don't think Hwi particularly likes this guy as a person, so I don't know if I see anything coming from that. But I could envision a situation where Han and this guy team up in some way to keep Hwi and Param away from each other. But that's just me.

I think Cain was Jooin's dog in his past life. It would explain why:

1.) Master! Cain used to call Jooin "Master" even though it's shown from the first time Cain and Jooin meet that Cain already knows Jooin's name.

2.) The cover art! Why is Cain in a collar and leash even though Yahwi isn't? There's also a paw print background behind them.

3.) His puppy-like personality. He's always high-energy, and he always wants Jooin to be happy. He always wants to be praised by Jooin. The author doesn't hide this either! How many times has Cain been drawn with fake doggy ears??

4.) He never disobeys Jooin even if you can tell he is upset. He would never act on his own to say anything to Yahwi if Jooin didn't want him to.

5.) His full name is literally Canis Lupus. The scientific name for wolves.

6.) Cain has a great interest in traditional Korean customs. He met Jooin first in the temple, and he said "you look the same!" when Jooin was wearing Hanbok.

IMO, I think Cain was Jooin's dog from his past life and maybe Cain didn't do a good job at protecting him which is why he reincarnated. Now he's come back to make sure Jooin's happy no matter what. Tbh I don't think he even likes Jooin romantically, he just doesn't want him to be hurt.
