How do you guys follow up with mangakas? Do you just google their names and see if anything new about that sensei pops up?

Subcribe to any newsletter? Follow their social media?

How do you guys know if a mangaka is in their hiatus? Or forever discontinued a certain work/manga?

    I follow the Social Media

    I force my brain to
    1. Memorize their names
    2. Memorize the number of works listed under their names on this website
    3. Memorize the covers of the titles I finish reading.
So yeah I can NEVER keep up with anything because I'm a little bit stupid. I do remember my favourites tho.

I just wanted to know what everyone's answer would be

Mine is Hidoku Shinaide bc Maya's totally caring to Nemu and... you can just see the love they have towards each other! They're fucking perfect. I feel that with their characters, the mangaka could put them in any situation and it'd be hella interesting.

Plus the smutty scenes are HOT LIKE FIRE OMFG I LIVE FOR IT

Probably Katekyo or Viewfinder because both sets of characters are funny and interesting :D

I can' say hidoku shinaide is my favorite but that's always my first thought in recommending cute yaoi manga

nemu is sooo cute~ i can't get enough of when he slapped maya twice xD

and maya when he cried on the side story

    they're so sexy i can't

Probably Vassalord, which is technically shounen-ai, but does have its fair share of "suggestive" scenes. Just the fact that it actually had a climax, a point, and a meaning (clearly the opposite of your typical yaoi/shounen-ai) got me hooked. It had a great plot, and is one of the only ones I've read multiple times.

Both of them change for good, they inspire each other to become a better person.
Viewfinder will always be number 1 to me, following by Hidoku Shinaide and Totally Cativated.

So I was seriously considering this, but in the end I believe my favourite yaoi is indeed Ameiro Paradox from Natsume Isaku.

The story isn't overly complicated, but the narration, helped by the simple, wonderful trait of the author, and the characterization of the two main characters (I would say of the side characters as well here) is honestly the most outstanding thing I've ever saw in my entire life.

Natsume-sensei can really convey a great range of emotions with her characters and with their actions as well. However sometimes it's quite hard discerning a character from another since her style is very unique, but also too standardized - help me here I can't find the right word orz. Despite this, I found myself falling in love with Onoe and Kaburagi from Ameiro Paradox since the couple has this strong wholehearted vibe - I'm so bad with words - which seriously makes me jealous of their relationship. I'm not saying they're the epitome of love, they in fact aren't, but this makes them even more precious because they feel real.

I'm sorry if it's unintelligible orz I'm very bad at explaining myself...
