i saw the comments of people disliking carcel, i mean that is totally valid im not gonna spoil anything in the novel but he makes up for it and he is probably the best choice for ines in the whole novel, nobody could catch up to carcel. Not the crown prince and not the painter, trust me the amount of hardship ines go through because of those two were massive.
