See, I’m really bored so this is my analysis on Iseon cause he’s so mysterious and complex. I’m restless waiting for a new chapter, so I reread everything again. Let me know what you think, feel free to disagree.

1. He expected Yumin to call him back.

From every chapter from the break up, his expression drops when someone mentions or he thinks about Yumin. I don’t think this is a coincidence. The fact that when he was eating dinner with his sister, right before this he saw Yumin and Hyeondo’s back at the restaurant, his sister complains that he was late, probably cause he was thinking about it. And when his sister asks him a question, he like snaps back into reality, shows that he was thinking. Then, when his sister mentions that Yumin might be dating someone, his expression drops as he says he saw them and why should he say hi when she’s with someone else. Now, I don’t necessarily think he’s jealous, but I think he’s a bit bothered for sure, especially since it’s been 3 months no contact.

When Iseon and Hyundo saved the cat, and they were talking about likes and dislikes, Iseon mentioned that he doesn’t really like or hate cats, it is just that he feels a sense of responsibility…this is definitely referring to his philosophy when it comes to Yumin as well. The distinction is that Hyeondo loves what he loves outwardly and even Iseon notices that..

Everytime someone mentions reaching out to Yumin, Iseon never shuts it down. I know this could be platonic love too, but when we finally saw flashbacks to when Yumin took care of Iseon’s dad, I think Iseon felt touched by that and didn’t want her gone when college was ending, I mean why else would he ask her out? I mean he mentioned that he didn’t even want to date a girl to get rid of admirers when Yumin joked about it. Yumin is special and he’s getting around to notice it, sad that it took him 6 years.

We all know miss Yumin wore her heart on her sleeve, so Iseon definitely thought she would return. When Yumin hid into Hyeondo when she saw Iseon and his coworker, Iseon said with no hesitation that he had a gf…I mean he could’ve said that to say it but considering the latest chapters, especially chapter 27, his friends thoughts reflect his. How come Yumin was so head over heels for me but didn’t call me? He definitely knew and liked that she loved him so much and he can’t believe that she didn’t reach out. Now, this tells us nothing about his romantic feelings for her but when Hyeondo and him met at Yumin’s recommended restaurant I was a bit sus, Iseon said if wouldn’t be seeing Yumin again…I found that weird. Then when Hyeondo was legit describing Yumin’s personality, Iseon was blushing not only because he realized Hyeondo got a lil crush on this mystery girl…it’s cause he’s thinking about Yumin.

chapter 27: dude Iseon noticing Yumin’s favorite dessert shop and his expression dropping again, bro misses her bad.

chapter 29-31 he says how he wanted to respect her decision to not talk but said it was nice to see her, let’s be so for real, he didn’t even smile seeing her and another man….he is lying. He is just getting uncomfortable with the distance….offering to be a friend to be near her but still sort of respect the breakup. At this point, he knows there’s some other reason Yumin broke up with him cause going back to the earlier chapters, back to the dinner with his sister, he recalls seeing Yumin’s hands shaking during the breakup. But I fear this is coming off egotistical, thinking that she loves me so much she would never.

This is really messy, I did my best but I think he’s definitely trying to get back in her life to figure out why she truly broke up with him cause it seems like he wanted to marry her to be a real family in chp 27. I hope the author doesn’t make him too toxic.

I mean instead of this insane interpretation, he could also be gay and wants Yumin back platonically but then the story would lowkey end once he comes out. So I am happy if he’s gay, but he needs to apologize to Yumin for leading her on like that. And NEVER too much on my girl cause she never expected a relationship with Iseon, HE IS THE ONE who sought her out,

But I’ll add more once I remember the details but I definitely try to pay attention to the lighting of the characters faces, Iseon is normally so bright but when it comes to Yumin his expression turns gray,

Predictions for chapter 32-33;

I strongly predict this will happen. Yumin will say “why do you want to be friends?” He might pull some emotional baggage on her cause she’s a softie and say that his dad and sister miss her and doesn’t want to make it awkward, so Yumin will say yes. But Iseon will keep trying to contact her and it’ll make her question things, especially with Hyeondo questioning his feelings regarding Yumin being just a friend.

Another option is of course that Yumin will say no, but I’m not so sure what might happen following this. I just hope Iseon puts together soon that Yumin and Hyeondo are developing a vibe ~ and doesn’t try to ruin it!!

This manhwa keeps edging us

Lmfao I think her ex is just trying to get back in her life. Like bro, wdym friends?? He’s secretly a schemer too, sad that we don’t know his thoughts as much though. I really think Yumin will agree and say yes to being friends cause of “no hard feelings” cause of Iseon’s sister. But since, Yumin has mostly ever been a girlfriend to Iseon, he’s not going to like the boundaries she’s going to place (just a prediction) as a friend. It’ll be even better when her ex sees Hyeondo gushing over her, I think he already has a clue.

I hope she keeps getting closer to 2nd ml

Why is it always a cycle of him being annoying, she ignores him, and her chasing and blushing up? Legit almost had the story progressing with the new guy, now back to square one. Pleaseee just move the story forward.
