i think you're forgetting her condition at the moment...she's a slave who knows nothing about her master's feelings. if you were a slave wouldn't you also hang on to the first chance of freedom that appears in front of you? she's not a mere servant, she's a SLAVE...she could suffer whatever her owner desires to inflict on her and she doesn't know which master she'll have in the future

Man just made out with her. Her boss literally has more power to give her freedom than anyone. How can she not realise he likes her? And after that happens, she accepts a marriage proposal? Why wouldn’t you think about it for a few more chapters come on. Secondly, she was getting along with the commander, just ask the guy what the kiss meant.
Or at least, not use a lazy storytelling technique of skipping to morning to prolong the relationship drama.

All of that sounds very reasonable, except that wasn’t the thought process she had in the story. She was thinking about all other things, her thought bubbles didn’t mention a thing about what either of us said.

Well if you think about it she has done a lot. She was pretending to be crazy to survive and even fell off of the castle walls to uphold that title so her brothers wouldn't have killed her. I'm guessing it would develop more now since the ml was introduced finally

I think he's hiding his capability to be ruthless from our heroine, but only because he doesn't want to scare her.
His gentleness towards her seems very genuine and I'm certain he would never hurt her. Though he'll certainly fuck up anyone else who might try ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄

I think this is pretty normal behavior for someone who has been abused and isolated from other people her whole life. On top of that, she realizes how much power she has now. Her every whim, even killing someone can now be fulfilled. The fact that FL is afraid to trust someone, afraid that she will make a mistake is quite normal. If she suddenly got cocky and confident after gaining power it would be even weirder than her current behavior ╮(￣▽￣)╭

If it were me I’d probably be dead inside tbh. Like her only redeeming quality is that she is kind, which is highly unrealistic for someone who has been abused their whole life.

IDK how tf it works for you but it's not like you've been abused like that? and idfk why you hate her so much but you should know that the annoying one here is you, idk how you find it unrealistic that she is kind even after going through all that cuz there's no such thing as not being allowed to be kind? and i believe that she is kind because she doesn't want anyone else to experience the same thing

I already said in my original comment that I’m not sorry for my opinion, you being salty about it isn’t going to change it. And if we’re really talking about reality, most of the time people who suffer bad experiences either become messed up or start projecting. Most people with criminal records have unhappy childhoods. Thats fact.
Maybe I have to repeat myself but i said her redeeming quality is that she’s nice, never said it wasn’t allowed. But that part is annoying too, you’ve gone through shit and all you are is nice? She’s so one dimensional. So until the author gives us some good character development, I 100% stick by my opinion. You’re also 100% entitled to think that I’m annoying. Blame the freedom of the internet for letting me express my opinion.

... Its not that the only thing she has to her personality is that she is "kind"..
Its that she is trying to use the god like power she has in her hands at the moment to save those she knows she has a chance of saving. She is trying to do for others what noone has done for her and in the process opefully come to terms with the abuse she has faced and be able to accept its and not let it dictate her life anymore.
At the same time she knows that everyone wants to use her now that she has a literal god at her beck and call, she also knows that if she isnt wary those ppl will likely use her until nothing is left of her..
The power she now has painted a target on her back for ppl who wana use her, but her sister is unhinged and the sisters reaction is unpredictable so naturaly FL fears.. after all.
1. The father scolded her sister for the first time.
2. The father punished the sister for the first time.
3. The sisters fiance is now protection FL.
4. The sister is super petty and spoiled rotten.
5. The sister has no problem abusing or torturing ppl for her own satisfaction.
6. The sister is easerly influenced by ppl, such as maids and otehr nobels.
7. The sister is un-predictable.. and unhinged.

All those 7 points are reasons FL is super docile, as she is trying her best to to agrivate her sisters wrath. But sadly everyone els is already doing so in secret.

All of that makes total sense.
But that’s not made clear. We don’t get any inside view from her perspective that that’s what she’s actually thinking. For all we the audience know, her head is empty. Idk if there just hasn’t been enough chapters but she’s had no character development. It’s not my job to defend the story, why do I have to piece it together to make it sound good, when it could just be shit. The story hasn’t given enough hints to warrant a good review yet.
Literally everything you said is fine and dandy, but we might as well be deluding ourselves if we say that this traumatised person is so empathetic and wise and cautious when all we are given is a jittery lead who can only cry for help. Until it’s proven she’s thinking as far ahead as you say, I will still think she’s annoying.

We are shown her dilemma in chapter 17 when she goes to the meeting for future actions where they are chosing what areas to suport first.. FL calls them out on prioritizig helping the rich city over the most hit area and is looked down on for it. But gets hepled by a young nobel feeling that the elders are looking out for their own intrets.

When in the disaster area FL is scared shitless, but makes the choice to try and save the ppl being turned into demons as this is a fate worse than death.. and she begs the god to save them. At that time she wanted to save them even when told killing them was the only salvation. She was willing to sacrifice her self for the ppl as despite being abused and looked down on ..she herself is still a princess and as such she feels she should atleast save those she could.

That’s also fair. Still think she’s annoying. If i were a character in these stories I’d probably be a bully side character.

Its because they think hes a demigod with free will, but in reality he is a demigod tied to FL and can only use his powers for her or at her will..
They dont understand this and think he shoould just freely use his power, but he cant just like he cant exists for long when away from FL.

I think hes a decent character.
He isnt reprecented like FL's savior or a knight in shininig armor, he is just a being that exists solely for FL and to do her bidding. So if she wants someone dead he will kill, if she wants someone saved he will save them. He is neither good nor bad.
He himself says that he isnt a god and closer to what humans refer to as a demon, but humans are the ones who call his kind gods.

All he wants is FL's happiness and for her to value herself. To him noone els but FL matters.

I think ppl need to think of im as a "loyal pet" to FL, rather than a savior, demigod or Ml.
